Ngem & Mariam Jimoh Emerging feelers from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission appear to give an implicit fact that no opposition party had successfully fielded valid candidate to challenge the ruling APC in the July 12 Local Government Elections. The feasible conclusion to be validly drawn about this is that many of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates might be going for a walkover victory on the polling day. This came as Prince Idris Balogun, Chairmanship Candidate of APC was described as the party's "unifier" for the atmosphere of harmony that pervaded the ground finale of the week-long campaign activities.
